Advised Company Director regarding drafting new Directors Contract and obligations.
Advised Company Director regarding potential Sexual Harassment Claim by Members of Staff.
In 2005 acted for the first Whistleblower employee of Serious and Organised Crime Agency. Case settled on favourable terms for Client.
Represented Senior Member of Staff from UK 500 Law Firm who was sacked on grounds of redundancy but in reality was age discrimination. Case resulted in substantial payout to Client following settlement.
Represented Senior Female Police Officer in relation to a Sex discrimination/victimisation claim against Lincolnshire Police. Case for Victimisation successful.
Represented female Police Firearms Officer from North Yorkshire Police in respect of a Sex discrimination claim.
Advised and acted for Manager from Construction company, Connaught which went into administration regarding claim under TUPE regulations and claim for lack of consultation/unfair dismissal. Case was one of over 300 claimants in England and Wakles. Case settled on favourable terms for Client.
Advised and Represented over 200 members of staff from Kodak n Leeds involved in redundancy consultation following decision to close Leeds manufacturing plant. Settlement agreements entered into by Staff.
